Common Questions

An average of 62 meals are prepared and delivered weekly to unhoused and food-insecure residents.

New Faith Human Services also provides individually tailored tutoring services to school-aged children ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Meals are prepared and delivered to people in need across a large section of St. Petersburg’s midtown region spanning nearly 10 square miles. A map of our A Tribute of Love Feeding the Homeless Program delivery region can be found here, which spans 54th Ave South to 9th Avenue North between 3rd Street and 34th Street North and South. Gulfport is excluded from our delivery route at this time, but occasionally, we are able to expand our service reach to include Coquina Key.

New Faith Human Service’s Faith Tech in Action Tutoring Program primarily serves students attending the schools listed below, but all students are welcome.

  • Jordan Park Elementary
  • Lakewood Fundamental Elementary
  • Perkins Elementary School
  • John Hopkins Middle School

Parents are responsible for ensuring their children arrive promptly by 5:30 PM with the school work their child needs assistance with that evening. A computer lab is available to the students during these sessions, provided the student has their school user ID and password to log in to our online system. A healthy snack is provided, and children are to be picked up by their parents by 7:30 PM.

The fall tutoring program begins on Monday, September 9, 2024. Parents may register their children online by following this link: [Placeholder]. During the registration process, parents will be asked to take a short survey to help evaluate their student’s needs.

Individuals seeking to be included in our Wednesday lunchtime meal delivery route are invited to contact New Faith Human Services at [Insert Email Address].

Our community has always had one of the highest concentrations of unhoused individuals in the state. In the last few years since the start of the pandemic, our community has not only seen a dramatic increase in housing costs, but the cost of basic food and other staples has also risen sharply with inflation. The need for our meal delivery services continues to expand under the weight of these mounting economic pressures.

There are a number of ways you can support our work in the community.

Financial Gifts
Your generous contributions make it possible to continue our work and to reach more people in need.  Every gift, no matter the size, creates a ripple of positive change. Your tax-deductible donation helps provide food, education, and hope to the most deserving members of our community.

Donate Food + Supplies
Help stock our pantry and provide essential items for those we serve. Your donations directly impact the lives of individuals facing hardship. Please see our Amazon wish list for the items we currently need most.
